Douala 1er : Lengue Malapa traduit les orientations du RDPC sur le terrain

À l’approche des prochaines élections législatives et municipales, la section Wouri I du RDPC met en œuvre les orientations du Comité central à l’échelle locale. Sous l’impulsion de Jean-Jacques Lengue Malapa, maire de Douala 1er et président de section, la priorité est donnée à la discipline, à la réconciliation, à l’apaisement et à la remobilisation des structures de base.

Le 25 août 2026, lors de la rencontre consacrée aux orientations stratégiques du Comité central, Lengue Malapa a placé l’unité et la cohésion au cœur de la préparation électorale. Cette démarche vise notamment à renouer le dialogue entre militants et à prévenir les tensions susceptibles de fragiliser l’action de la section.

Dans cette dynamique, le comité AD-HOC de Médiation et de Suivi a entamé une tournée dans les unités politiques de Douala 1er. La première étape, organisée le 2 septembre au Canton Bell A, a permis de restituer les recommandations du séminaire stratégique du Comité central et de lancer un processus de remobilisation de la base.

Des orientations nationales aux quartiers
La feuille de route de Wouri I prévoit une sensibilisation permanente des militants, des rencontres avec les groupes cibles, une attention particulière aux jeunes et aux femmes, ainsi qu’un suivi des inscriptions sur les listes électorales.

L’objectif est de renforcer les structures de proximité afin qu’elles connaissent leur territoire, leurs militants et leurs difficultés, et restent actives au-delà des périodes électorales.

Entre responsabilité municipale et animation politique
À la tête de la mairie de Douala 1er et de la section Wouri I, Jean-Jacques Lengue Malapa évolue dans un espace où responsabilités municipales et animation politique se côtoient, tout en demeurant institutionnellement distinctes.

Sur le plan municipal, la commune poursuit plusieurs programmes liés notamment à la voirie, à l’assainissement, aux infrastructures et à la modernisation des services.
