Le Syndicat National des Journalistes Indépendants du Cameroun (SYNAJIC) appelle ses membres et les journalistes nationaux au respect de l’éthique et de la déontologie professionnelle.

Armand OUGOCK, Journaliste, Directeur de publication du journal « Transition », interpellé le 22 Octobre dernier, a passé sa deuxième nuit dans l’une des cellules de la direction de la police judiciaire de Yaoundé. Notre confrère est détenu pour chantage et diffamation par voie de presse.

Selon nos sources à la Dpj-Ydé, Armand OUGOCK aurait créé des polémiques pour faire chanter contre de l’argent, certaines personnalités de la République dont les identités ne nous ont pas été révélées.

Face à la gravité des faits allégués, le Président du SYNAJIC, tout en invitant ses camarades et les journalistes locaux au respect de l’éthique et de la déontologie, exhorte le pardon de ces personnalités dont l’image a été écornée.
Le SYNAJIC demande la libération de Armand OUGOCK, Dp de Transition, au regard des garanties de siège de résidence et de sûreté qu’il présente.
