Le Cameroun impulse une nouvelle souveraineté monétaire en Afrique centrale
Sous l’impulsion décisive de Yaoundé, les pays de la CEMAC affichent désormais une volonté claire : tourner la page du franc CFA.
Cette dynamique s’incarne dans la construction du Fonds Monétaire Africain (FMA), en cours à Yaoundé, dont l’achèvement est prévu pour 2026. Une fois opérationnelle, cette institution panafricaine ne pourra remplir sa mission que dans un contexte de véritable souveraineté monétaire.
Cette démarche, portée de longue date par le feu Guide libyen Mouammar Kadhafi, est aujourd’hui pilotée depuis Etoudi par le Président Paul Biya, ce qui expliquerait les tensions perceptibles du côté de l’Élysée.
Avec ce projet stratégique, la marche vers une autonomie financière totale atteint désormais près de 80 %.
Un pas majeur porté par la vision du Président Patriarche S.E. Paul Biya.
