À l’occasion d’une mission conjointe de suivi de haut niveau, la CAMWATER et son partenaire CGCOC ont affiché une même détermination : accélérer la réalisation des infrastructures stratégiques afin d’offrir, dans les meilleurs délais, un service d’eau potable plus fiable, plus performant et durable aux populations.

Ce lundi 3 août 2026, une importante délégation conduite par le Président-Directeur Général du Groupe CGCOC, M. LAN, accompagné du Directeur Général de l’entreprise, M. LU, a effectué une mission de suivi et d’évaluation des travaux. La délégation a été accueillie par le Directeur de la Distribution et du Réseau de la CAMWATER, M. DAMA Émile, représentant le Directeur Général, Dr Blaise MOUSSA, en présence du Délégué Régional de l’Ouest, M. KEMMEGNE KOM Hugues, ainsi que des équipes techniques mobilisées sur le terrain.
Au-delà d’une simple visite de chantier, cette rencontre avait pour objectif d’évaluer avec précision l’état d’avancement des ouvrages, d’identifier les défis opérationnels et de définir les mesures nécessaires pour maintenir une cadence élevée jusqu’à l’achèvement du projet.

La délégation a procédé à une inspection approfondie des ouvrages les plus structurants du projet.
Au cœur des réalisations figure le futur château d’eau de 1 500 m³, infrastructure stratégique destinée à renforcer considérablement les capacités de stockage, améliorer la pression dans le réseau de distribution et garantir une alimentation plus régulière pour les populations de Dschang.

Il a insisté sur la nécessité d’intensifier le rythme des travaux, de renforcer les mécanismes de contrôle qualité, de maintenir une mobilisation constante des ressources techniques et humaines et d’assurer une coordination permanente entre les équipes de la CAMWATER et celles de CGCOC afin d’anticiper toute difficulté susceptible d’affecter le calendrier d’exécution.
Pour sa part, le Délégué Régional de l’Ouest, M. KEMMEGNE KOM Hugues, a salué l’engagement de l’ensemble des acteurs mobilisés et réaffirmé la disponibilité des équipes régionales de la CAMWATER à accompagner l’entreprise jusqu’à la livraison complète des ouvrages.

À l’issue de la mission, les responsables du Groupe CGCOC ont réaffirmé leur volonté de renforcer davantage les moyens humains, techniques et logistiques déployés sur le chantier afin d’accélérer l’exécution des travaux tout en respectant les exigences contractuelles.
Les échanges entre les deux partenaires ont permis d’arrêter plusieurs mesures opérationnelles destinées à optimiser l’organisation du chantier et à garantir la bonne exécution des différentes phases du projet.
