VISITE DES CHANTIERS À DOUALA : LES GRANDS CONSEILLERS MOBILISÉS POUR LE SUIVI DES PROJETS STRUCTURANTS DE LA VILLE
Le jeudi 23 juillet 2026, les Grands Conseillers de la Communauté urbaine de Douala ont effectué une importante mission de terrain sur plusieurs chantiers stratégiques en cours de réalisation à travers la ville. Cette descente s’inscrit dans une démarche de gouvernance de proximité, de transparence et de suivi rigoureux des projets engagés pour transformer durablement le cadre de vie des populations.
La délégation a successivement visité plusieurs sites majeurs, notamment :
- Youpwé, où se poursuivent les travaux d’aménagement de la voie d’accès au Centre de transfert des déchets, un ouvrage essentiel pour améliorer la gestion des déchets solides et optimiser la chaîne de collecte.
- Bépanda Montée Américain (One to One), où sont exécutés des travaux d’entretien courant de la voirie afin de faciliter la circulation des personnes et des biens et de préserver le patrimoine routier.
- Pont Génie Militaire, théâtre des opérations de curage de l’exutoire du drain Tongo, une intervention déterminante pour améliorer l’écoulement des eaux pluviales et réduire les risques d’inondation dans les quartiers environnants.
- Makèpè Lycée, où les Grands Conseillers ont évalué les opérations de précollecte des ordures ménagères assurées par NIL Services SARL, un maillon essentiel dans le renforcement de la salubrité urbaine.
- Bonangang, Mbanguè, Logbessou-Lendi, Carrefour Cité – Parc de Kondi et Bonamatoumbè, où se poursuivent plusieurs travaux de voirie, d’assainissement et de drainage destinés à moderniser les infrastructures de proximité et à améliorer les conditions de vie des habitants.
